A place to understand yourself more deeply.
Mumtaz Mind & Wellness Studio is a space for thoughtful, compassionate and evidence-based psychological care, supporting individuals, couples and families in Gwarinpa, Abuja and online as they navigate the complexities of life.
Wellbeing is not simply about feeling better. It is about understanding yourself, finding balance and learning how to move through life with greater awareness.
We believe meaningful psychological care should feel human. It should combine professional expertise with genuine compassion, creating space for people to explore their experiences without judgement.
Created with the belief that mental healthcare can be both professional and deeply human.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to guide people towards excellence in every part of their being. We nurture the complete self through four vital realities, the Heart, Mind, Body and Soul, creating a supportive space where you can find balance and live with greater wellbeing and fulfilment.
We recognise that no two experiences are the same. Our work is therefore centred on understanding the individual, their relationships, their environment and the experiences that have shaped them.
Whether someone comes to us seeking therapy, guidance or a psychological evaluation, our goal is the same: to help bring greater clarity and support to the journey ahead.
Care, with intention.
The way we work is shaped by a commitment to thoughtful, respectful and evidence-based psychological care.
Compassion
We create space for people to feel heard, respected and supported without judgement.
Understanding
We believe meaningful support begins with taking the time to understand each person’s individual experience.
Evidence
Our approach is informed by professional knowledge, ethical practice and evidence-based psychological care.
Whole-Person Care
We look beyond a single challenge to understand the wider experiences, relationships and contexts that shape wellbeing.
The whole person matters.
Our approach to wellbeing recognises that mental health does not exist in isolation. The way we think, feel, connect and live are deeply connected.
At Mumtaz, we consider the relationship between the heart, mind, body and soul, creating a more complete understanding of the factors that influence wellbeing.
